Cashier Job Summary
We own multiple gas stations (branded and unbranded) spread across the Bay Area. All stations have convenience stores attached to them and some have a full service or drive-through car wash as well.
We are looking for both full-time and part-time cashiers for all 3 shifts (Morning, Afternoon and Graveyard).
The primary responsibilities include:
- Provide courteous and pleasant customer service to every customer
- Ensure the accuracy of all transactions and make sure the money is always balanced
- Ensure the store – inside and outside looks clean and is well stocked
- Upsell products
- Prepare shift reports at the end of the shift as per company policies
- Ensure that tobacco and alcohol are not sold to minors
Qualifications
- Have basic working knowledge of English
- Be able to do basic calculations for providing change to customers and preparing shift reports
- Be flexible to work different schedules
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders if need be
- Be willing to work in an environment selling tobacco and alcohol
- Must be 18+ years of age
